Dear Friends & Neighbors,

Can you trust your brain?
Can your brain be tricked?
Do you trust easily?
How important is it for people in a society to be able to trust?
Allow me to share “Brain Games-Trust me” of National Geographic, below, to help enlighten us on the subject :
In my limited knowledge and experience, I suspect the economic event that occurred in 2008 had tremendous impact on our Societal Trust that ultimately is contributing to the current slowness we are observing in global corporation investments. Perhaps we all, including the corporations, need to learn from the video above regarding Brain Games: some times we need to trust a bit more outside of our selves, not to over-react to our past experiences, but to place some trust in our future. It is only then, we will have a better chance for future growth of businesses/economy and a promising tomorrow in a Clean and Renewable Future . It is prudent to make adjustment, but it is not wise to overreact. I believe these experts in the video below will agree, in Davos 2016 on “Preventing Future Shocks“:
Moderator Maria Batiromo, Archor and Global Markets Editor, Fox Business Network, USA
Paul Singer, Founder, CEO, & Co-Chief Investment Officer, Elliott Management, USA
Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP plc., UK
Min Zhu, Deputy Managing Director, IMF (International Monetary Fund), Washington DC
Kenneth Rogoff, Professor of Public Policy & Economics, Harvard University
These financial/economics experts all seem to agree on the importance of decision makers having long term views, the need to release trillions of dollars of investment potential for future economic growth, and the need for reform in various sectors of financial infrastructures. So how would you propose we do to help regain our societal trust in order to release those trillions of dollars of investment potential?
I am a mother/wife/daughter, math professor, solar advocate, world traveler, yogi, artist, photographer, sharer of knowledge/information, and resident of Windermere, FL. I've worked professionally in applied math, engineering, medical research, and as a university math professor in IL and FL for about 20 years. My husband and I loved Disney and moved down to Central Florida initially as snowbirds. But we've come to love the warmth and friendly people offered by this community and decided to move down to Windermere, FL full time in 2006. I am now spending time sharing information/ knowledge online, promoting understanding of math and solar energy (via http://www.sunisthefuture.net ), and developing Windermere Sun (http://www.WindermereSun.com) as an online publication, sharing and promoting Community ABC's (Activities-Businesses-Collaborations) for healthier/happier/more sustainable living. In the following posts, I'll be sharing with you some of the reasons why Windermere has attracted us to become full-time residents of Central Florida region. Please feel free to leave your comments via email at "Contact Us" in the topbar above or via info.WindermereSun@gmail.com.
